All Recipe Locations & Craftable Items Guide

The crafting system in Pokemon Z adds a deep layer of exploration and progression, allowing you to create powerful items using materials found across the region. As you travel through New Kalos, you’ll discover hidden recipe pages that unlock new crafting options and expand the list of items you can produce.

This guide provides the exact locations of every recipe in the game, along with the full crafting unlock order. Whether you’re aiming to complete the crafting list or just looking for a specific recipe, you’ll find everything you need here in one place.

What Are Recipes?

Before diving into recipe locations, it’s important to understand one of the game’s most unique mechanics: Crafting.
This system lets you create useful items using materials you find while exploring the region.

To access crafting, simply open the game menu (press X on your keyboard) and select the Craft option.

What Is the Craft Feature?

As you explore the New Kalos region, you’ll collect many different materials. These resources can be combined to create new items such as Poké Balls, amulets, stones, and stat boosters.

Each craftable item requires a specific set of materials. However, having the materials alone isn’t enough — you also need the correct recipe to know how to combine them.

Think of it like cooking: ingredients are useless without instructions. Recipes provide those instructions within the crafting system.

What Is a Recipe?

A recipe is the blueprint that allows you to craft a specific item using the materials you’ve gathered.

At the start of the game, you have three recipes unlocked by default. As you progress, you’ll obtain more by:

  • Exploring hidden areas
  • Talking to certain NPCs
  • Completing side quests

Unlocking recipes expands your crafting list, letting you create stronger and more useful items throughout your adventure

Pokemon Z Recipe Locations & Craftable Items Guide

Note: The crafting order is always the same, regardless of which recipe you collect first. Some recipe slots contain multiple items.

Across the region, you can find Alchemy Pages and recipe scrolls that unlock new crafting options. These recipes are hidden in towns, routes, dungeons, and special areas, often requiring exploration abilities such as Surf, Strength, or mounts.

This guide lists every recipe location in the game, followed by the complete list of craftable items in crafting order.
